Spacing is Important

Get Furniture that Match

Spend Wisely
Unless you’ve got deep pockets, buy items that will last and can perform some kind of function. For example, clocks and chairs are practical items, but they can also be decorative. Don’t spend thousands of dollars on useless items.
Throw Away Excess Baggage
Trying to fit in every furniture piece in the house is one reason why some interior designs don’t work. Throw away the pieces that don’t fit or you don’t like.
Forcing those pieces to fit in will ruin the design and clutter the place. On a related matter, don’t display something you don’t like in the hope your feelings will change eventually. That isn’t going to work.
Avoid Overcrowding
